The Parm Boys Overall Score: 6.9 / 10

The Vibe

We locked down a killer window seat for this run, which set a great stage for the night. The energy was high—Shizz even ended up singing the anthem. Twice! When the anthems are flowing, it's pretty hard to have a bad night. The service was interesting, to say the least: the waiters were highly intrigued by our business model, but they seemed like total skeptics. Why do they doubt the one and only Parm Boys?

On the starter front, the apps were all solid and got the table moving. The fried mozzarella was absolute gas, and we got a nice, clean bathroom to boot.

The Parm

Here is where things get wild. This is the first time in our history that we actually tried the parm twice before writing the review. The first time we had it, the parm was great. But this second time? Not so much. It makes us second-guess everything. Did we just catch them on an off night, or is there a consistency issue?

The second-round cutlet we ate for this review was incredibly tough—to the point where you could barely even cut through it. It was not a fun experience. The meat had a strange, gamey profile, with some of the boys comparing the texture to straight-up beef jerky. On the plus side, they didn't skimp on the dairy; there was a very good, satisfying amount of cheese on top. But the execution on the chicken itself dragged the score way down. To wrap up on a high note, the desserts were great, featuring a highly quality cheesecake.

The Highs and Lows

  • The Positives:

    • Excellent, high-quality fried mozzarella and solid starters overall.

    • A very generous, satisfying amount of cheese on the cutlet.

    • Quality desserts, highlighted by an elite cheesecake.

    • Great window-seat vibe and high-energy atmosphere (with double anthems).

    • Nice, exceptionally clean bathroom.

  • The Negatives:

    • The cutlet was incredibly tough, stringy, and nearly impossible to cut.

    • A weirdly gamey flavor profile that felt like chewing beef jerky.

    • Massive consistency issues compared to our first visit.

    • A confusing debate over still water vs. tap water service.

Closing Thoughts

Adoro is a tough one to call. Our first run here was great, but this second trip delivered what was easily one of our hardest, most gamey cutlets yet. If they can capture the magic of that first visit and make their chicken easy to cut again, this spot has real potential. But based on this round, the meat fell flat.

PARM BOYS OUT!
