The Vibe
We swung by this joint hunting for the ultimate food recommendations, but the front-of-house was running on absolute autopilot. The service was completely bland—just totally lacking that fun sparkle you want when you're out tracking down legendary eats. Good thing they had a solid lineup of bread and toppings on the table to keep our hands busy while we waited.
The Parm
This cutlet turned out to be an absolute unit of heavy breading. It was packing a serious crunch, but it created a bit of a drought on the plate—it explicitly needed an extra river of sauce to help lubricate the situation. The cheese blanket called to us, but the kitchen needed a much heavier hand with the red sauce squeeze bottle to make this one truly pop.
The Highs and Lows
The Positives:
The accompanying linguini was absolute top tier, a total sleeper hit.
Great table snacks with the good bread and toppings layout.
The Negatives:
The cutlet suffered from a serious case of heavy breading.
Major dry spell on the plate; desperately needed extra sauce.
The waitstaff delivered completely bland, low-energy service.
Closing Thoughts
The top-tier linguini absolutely saved this pitstop from a total wipeout, but the heavy-handed breading means this one didn't completely stand the test of time. Next stop, please!
